Las Vegas is famous for its casino and nightlife, but it comes with a cost. Most people think this place is for bachelor’s, but Vegas is family-friendly. Check out my list of “Free Things to do in Las Vegas.”
Free Things to do in Las Vegas
Bellagio fountain Show
The fountain show of Bellagio is right on the Las Vegas Strip and is most famous among the tourists. You will find people standing and waiting for the show at any time. It runs every half an hour in the daytime, but after 8 pm, it runs every 15 mins until midnight. It’s so beautiful to see the dancing fountain at night with all the yellow light looking more vibrant.
Miraj Volcano Eruption Show
This is the most stunning show I have ever seen. The Volcano Eruption show runs hourly, and it gets crowded, so be there before half an hour. People get their spot so early, and if you are standing far behind, you won’t see clearly.
Wynn Fountain Show
This fountain show is not as huge as Bellagio, but it’s more colorful than the one you see in Bellagio. They have lights underneath the fountain, changing colors according to the music. It is fun to watch. You can also click a picture with a waterfall.
Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Garden
Bellagio Conservatory is must visit place on the Las Vegas Strip. The Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Garden have five brand-new floral extravaganzas to showcase the beautiful sights and colors.
They change their showcase in five different themes, including Chinese New Year, spring, summer, fall, and winter. This display is open 24 hours and free of cost. This is an excellent place for photography as well.
The Wildlife Habitat of Flamingo
The name itself suggests what you can see in this Habitat, Right? The Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo is not just about Flamingo, but it’s a home of various birds, including pheasants, ducks, swans, and of course, flamingos. They created waterfalls and small swamps where Ducks and Fishes are playing around. The bright-pink Chilean flamingos are the center of attraction and catch the attention of all the visitors. I still wonder how they sleep on one leg.
Fremont Street Experience
Fremont Street is also known as Old Las Vegas. It’s more fun to visit this street after dark. This is the largest screen light show in the west, as far as I know. We explored old casinos and restaurants over here. After dark, you can enjoy live stage performances and street artists for free. Besides all this, don’t forget to take a free photo with a million dollars cash at the Binion’s casino.
The Fall of Atlantis
The Fall of Atlantis fountain show near the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace around the aquarium. I know you might have seen plenty of fountain shows, but nothing like this one. This show entertains audiences with special effects and animatronics figures. In this show, the statues of the Atlantis family come to life, and animatronics statues act out the story of the fall of Atlantis. The Fountains, lasers, fire, steam, and sound effects add to the excitement of the action. The show plays every hour starting at 11 am. Till 11 pm or midnight, according to the day of the week.
Click a picture with the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign
This is the most famous sign I have ever seen. Whoever goes to Las Vegas, click a picture with this sign. I don’t know why? This sign is located south of the strip. You cannot miss it when you are on the way to the airport because it’s right in the middle of the road. They do have a small parking lot where you can park. You will find a line to get the picture, so get in line and wait for your turn. Take your camera to get a good shot if you are going after dark. I struggled with my phone to take the picture.
Explore New York in Las Vegas
The New York-New York Hotel & Casino imitates the skyline of New York City. They also have featured the Brooklyn Bridge and the Statue of Liberty. You can feel like you are roaming in New York City. The difference is you can walk everywhere and reach in a short amount of time. It also offers a roller coaster ride, which is paid. I love the idea of building New York in Las Vegas.
Garden at Wynn Hotel
The Indoor Garden of the Wynn Hotel is simply stunning. It feels like walking among the trees, and flower balls hang from the trees. As it was Christmas when we visited, It was decorated with lights. I love the variation of color in the flower ball. Also, don’t forget to check the carousel decorated with flowers. It is such an incredible display.
Few other spots to explore
- The chandelier: – It is a lounge in Hotel Cosmopolitan in the shape of a Chandelier.
- Venice in Las Vegas: – The Venetian hotel and casino architecture are inspired by Venice, Italy. There are shops on both sides of the canal, which runs through the mall’s center.
- You don’t have to go to Egypt to see the sphinx: – The Luxor Hotel has inspired by ancient Egyptian architecture and built a pyramid and sphinx in the hotel premises. Hence, you can explore ancient Egyptian creatures on the Las Vegas strip.
- Bliss Dance: – It is a 40-foot-tall sculpture of a dancing woman, which celebrates the strength of a woman who is both safe and present.

Thank you a lot for giving everyone a very remarkable chance to read critical reviews from this website. It can be so beneficial and as well , stuffed with a good time for me and my office peers to search your website a minimum of thrice every week to study the new guides you will have. And definitely, I am at all times motivated for the effective suggestions you give. Selected 2 tips in this post are particularly the simplest I have had.
I want to thank you for the great content you are providing here on your blog, definitely very inspiring.
Interesting article. Tell me, is it better to use transport in USA? I plan to rent a car in Vegas, so as not to restrict myself to traveling.
I would suggest renting a car is the better option so you can go wherever you want.
Stroll the Strip, ha ha ))
With thanks! Valuable information!
This is cool!
