Holiday light displays are one of my favorite events for this time of the year and the topmost activity on my Winter Bucket List. All those beautiful Christmas trees decorated with lights and ornaments increase my holiday spirit. So, I learned about a few larger displays around Milwaukee. I am so excited to enjoy the Christmas celebration and to enjoy some photography with Christmas lights.

4. Candy Cane Lane light show
In December 1984, a group of neighbors living in West Allis, Wisconsin, joined together to collect donations for the MACC Fund – Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc., in honor of a neighbor’s child diagnosed with cancer. The neighbors worked in concert in decorating their homes and encouraged visitors to make a small donation as they drove through the festively enhanced neighborhood. All the money raised went to support research, treatment, and the discovery of a cure for childhood cancers and related blood diseases. Since then, this display has become a holiday light attraction on the south side of Milwaukee.
