New year Eve at Marina Del Ray
We got parking 2 blocks away, so we walked all the way to Burton park. It was fun to feel the excitement in the air, and the new year vibe was just amazing. The event was family-friendly, and the Christmas lights were outstanding. You will find vendors on your way to the park selling glow accessories and balloons.
The place was full of people & kids. It was so much fun walking through the lit-up trees. I really like the centerpiece near the entrance. It was lit up the boat and written Marina Del Ray on it.
As we keep going to the park, we encountered a huge tree covered with bright yellow lights. You can also click pictures with angels. There was a small play area where they kept games like balls in a bucket, toss a bean bag, Jenga, etc.
Though all this thing is beautiful, the bridge has stolen the show. I really loved it a lot. You can see the picture. I mean, it looks like a fairy tale movie for me. And yes, don’t miss the hot cocoa from a local stand.
