Lucknow is located on the plains; thus, the weather in the city is as per the season. Usually, the monsoon comes later in Lucknow. The summer in the town gets very hot; the average temperature lies between 40°C to 38°C. Thus the best time to visit Lucknow is from October to March. Winter brings cold and foggy but still makes it desirable to travel and explore.

Bada Imambara, also known as Bhul Bhulaiya and popularly known for its unique and fantastic maze. Because of this incredible maze, it got its name Bhul Bhulaiya. Rumi Darwaza (Gate)
Rumi Darwaza or Gate is a significant and grandeur structure and is often referred to as Turkish Gate. Rumi Darwaza is seen as the symbol of Lucknow city. It is located near the Bada Imambara, and in earlier times, it was used as the entrance of Old Lucknow. It is a beautifully ornate colossal structure built by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. The beauty of this place makes it a desirable place to visit.
Dr. Ambedkar Park
Dr. Ambedkar park was named after Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and was constructed in 2008 by Mayawati, former Chief Minister Of Uttar Pradesh. The park has a massive statue of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, and the interior of the park has various paintings displaying the life of Dr. Ambedkar. It has more than 300 elephant statues and various other small sculptures. It is a perfect place to hang out with friends and family.
Residency
Residency is a significant tourist attraction and has great historical importance. Residency brings back the memories of the First War Of Independence in 1857. The residency was a residential complex built for Britishers during the rule of Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. In 1857, These places served as the refuge for around 3000 Britishers. It is a must-visit place due to its rich and vital historical importance.
Gomti River Front
With the change in time, Lucknow has changed; it is fast growing and developing rapidly. The Gomti River Front is on the River Gomti, as the name indicates. It was constructed in 2016 by then Chief Minister Mr. Akhilesh Yadav. The Gomti River Front was created for the development of the Gomti River. The park is surrounded by greenery, musical fountains, and other recreational things, making it a great place to hang out.

Lucknow is known for its sumptuous cuisine and shopping. Lucknow is famous for its handicrafts, textiles, chikankari, and perfumes. Lucknow’s oldest bazaars are Aminabad, Kesarbagh, Hazratganj, and Chowk. The well-known chikankari work can be found all over these places.
